A graduate of York University (BFA, MA), Ben Riley has been actively engaged in the Canadian music scene since 1996.
Ben grew up in an intensely active musical family. His natural ability as a producer came from watching and learning from his father, Doug Riley, who in his lifetime had produced a staggering number of albums from the mid 60's to his untimely death in August 2007.
Ben has co-produced three albums for Planet Earth, a 2011 release, 'Invitation' with jazz greats Bernie Senensky and Gene Perla, two albums for Courtney Farquhar, as well as a single by Courtney which went platinum on Warner's 'Women and Songs 7". He is currently working on numerous projects to be released in the near future. |
